After Elon Musk announced the new CEO of Twitter, YouTube personality MrBeast expressed his interest in the position if Musk's choice "doesn't work out." Although Musk did not name the new CEO, reports suggest that Linda Yaccarino, a Comcast NBCUniversal executive, was in talks for the job.

MrBeast's response to Musk's announcement

MrBeast, a popular YouTube star known for his gaming content, humor, and philanthropy, took to Twitter to express his interest in the Twitter CEO position. MrBeast, who has over 152 million YouTube subscribers, indicated his willingness to take on the role, stating, "I call dibs if she doesn't work out."



 



 

Elon Musk backs MrBeast's charitable intentions

In a recent YouTube video, MrBeast gifted modern hearing aids to 1,000 deaf people, generating nearly 50 million views in five days. Despite receiving praise for his act of humanity and charity, some criticized it as a simplistic solution to a complex issue. However, Elon Musk defended MrBeast's charitable intentions on Twitter and encouraged people not to criticize 'for doing good'.



 

Additionally, the philanthropist revealed that MrBeast's video had inspired him to consider donating to causes aimed at restoring people's hearing. The Tesla founder questioned if money is the only factor necessary to restore hearing and expressed his continuous search for meaningful ways to donate money.
