However, the bad news is that the finale episode of Season 14 will not only be the final episode of the season but also of the show. During the weekend, Valerie took to social media to inform her fans about the cancellation of her cooking show. After her long-running program, she uploaded a video on Instagram saying, "It has been one of the huge joys in my life to bring you this sweet little show, and I wish it wasn’t so, but the final season of Valerie‘s Home Cooking start airing tomorrow on @foodnetwork We loved making every single episode for you 🤍 and I will really, really miss it. Thank you so much for watching!" She explained the shocking decision taken by the streaming platform saying, "Good morning! I got some good news and I got some bad news." The star informed that Season 14 of 'Valerie’s Home Cooking' will premiere on Sunday, bringing a bunch of new episodes. But Valerie later announced the bad news - Season 14 being the final season of the show.
Valerie Bertinelli slams Food Network
Valerie revealed that the cancellation of the show did not come as the shock to the star. She slammed the network saying, "Food Network canceled us last summer. I have no idea why." She claimed to have said nothing last summer because Valerie was "hoping they would change their mind." However, Food Network declined to change its mind and went ahead with the cancellation.
