Why did Carmen pick Victor over Bergie? 'Love Island USA' fans accuse islander of 'playing the game'
PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: Shockingly, Carsten 'Bergie' Bergersen has become a hot commodity in 'Love Island USA' Season 5. Some girls want to date him, while others have affection for him. However, it appears that the hot newcomer Carmen Kocourek is keeping her emotions for Bergie a secret. She chose Victor Gonzalez as her partner instead of Bergie, as depicted.
Bergie was eliminated in the first episode of the dating show. But, thankfully the star was brought back in the game with a surprise entry. Knowing that Bergie has a heart of gold and he is not a player, the 'Love Island USA' star gets all the attention in the villa.

Why did Carmen choose Victor over Bergie?
Bergie is paired with Kassy and Carmen chooses to pair with Victor in the villa. As soon as Carmen entered the villa, she was approached by Victor. At first, Carmen was fascinated by all the attention she got from Victor. But, in no time she realized he was giving the same vibe to the other girls in the villa. And, on the other hand, seeing Bergie be open about how he feels and who he is attracted Carmen's attention. Now that Carmen sees Victor exploring his options, Carmen too is looking out to be more involved with other contestants in the villa, especially Bergie. Carmen is seen confessing in the recently released episode that she does not want Bergie to get hurt, knowing that Kassy is not too involved in him. However, she is not approaching him because, Carmen says, "He is also not doing himself any favors."

Seeing a spark in Carmen's eyes about Bergie made a fan tweet, "Can Carmen just admit she likes bergie more." Another claimed, "Carmen and bergie will be a strong couple." Knowing that Carmen has feelings for Bergie but still does not confess made a fan tweet, "Carmen is playing the game til more boys come in which is snakish but if she liked Bergie more she should’ve chosen him then maybe Jazzy could’ve stayed.
