Why is Carl Radke leaving Kyle Cooke's Loverboy?
After deciding to leave Loverboy, Carl said, "I'm beyond proud of what I've done for that company, but for me day to day— I'm doing other things now, which is great," per Entertainment Tonight. Carl stated that he was still an investor in Kyle's firm. The business, on the other hand, was placing a strain on their bond. He also stated that the lifestyle required to manage Loverboy did not suit him. He was attending a lot of parties and advertising events, which did not feel normal, especially because he does not even drink. Carl admitted that Loverboy was never his ambition, but he merely wanted to help Kyle, his friend.
Carl has a degree in TV and filmmaking and has previously produced films and documentaries. Now that he's through with Loverboy, he can devote more time to to his genuine interests. He also had a wedding to arrange, and as fans witnessed in Season 6 of 'Summer House,' wedding preparation and managing Loverboy took a toll on Kyle's health. Carl is severing connections with Loverboy so that he can make wedding preparations in a much more stress-free manner.
What happened between Carl Radke and Kyle Cooke?
Carl and Kyle's friendship looked like it was at a breaking point in the trailer for 'Summer House' Season 7. In fact, after storming away from Kyle, Carl flips off the cameras, declaring, "I don’t want a f**king camera! No f**king cameras! F**k you guys!" "It’s never felt like this ever," Carl confessed in the supertease.
Later in the trailer, Kyle admits to Amanda that he believed Carl had "checked out." "Ever since he's been dating Lindsay [Hubbard], he's been doing less," he claimed. Carl says to Kyle in another clip, "I’ve been working my a** off, and it’s not good enough." Kyle appears to shout at Carl at dinner that if he leaves Loverboy, the firm would not notice.
Kyle, on the other hand, recently addressed the ups and downs of the season and stated that the two were now on "good" terms. "Carl and I have nothing but love and respect for one another," the 'Traitors' star told Page Six, adding, "And everyone’s gonna see that."
"I mean, obviously, it’s challenging working with your wife and your best friend, so it’s almost like I want to remind people that that in itself is not normal, and then you put it on TV, and it’s another level of crazy," Kyle explained.
"They definitely go through it this summer, and it’s going to be interesting to watch both sides instead of the one side that I’ve heard," Amanda told the outlet.
