LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Single Drunk Female' depicts, Samantha Fink, a 20-something alcoholic, who is forced to take the one opportunity she has to straighten up and escape going to jail: Returning home with her controlling mother, Carol, after a public meltdown at a New York media business. Samantha begins her life when she returns to Greater Boston, working at the neighborhood grocery shop despite being exposed to all of the triggers that led her to start drinking in the first place. She embarks on a journey to get over her ugliest side and discover her greatest potential after being challenged by traces of her old life, involving run-ins with her ideal former best friend who is now dating her ex.
It was originally revealed by Disney that all of the Season 2 episodes of ‘Single Drunk Female’ would be available on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Season 2 of 'Single Drunk Female' will now debut on May 31, 2023, on Disney+ in the UK, according to Disney. On April 12, the second season will air on Freeform in the US and start streaming on Disney+ the next day in Australia and New Zealand. On April 13, Hulu will start streaming all 10 episodes of Season 2 in the US.

Sofia Black-D'Elia
Sofia Black-D'Elia rose to prominence for her appearances on television in roles including Tea Marvelli in Skins, Sage Spence in Gossip Girl, Andrea Cornish in The Night Of, and Frannie Latimer in Your Honor. She began working as an actress at the same time as she was taking courses for a BFA in acting over the period of three years.

Laura Greene, a series regular on the TBS sitcom Miracle Workers, served as Compère's breakout role. Compère formerly had a position as a site manager. Her appearance on Miracle Workers, she claimed, ‘changed my life.’ Other notable credits include a part in the Netflix film 'Uncorked', which stars Mamoudou Athie, showrunner of the HBO series Insecure, and a recurrent figure on the HBO series 'Love Life', featuring Anna Kendrick. In the movie, Compère was "ideally cast," according to critic Pete Hammond.
