LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hallmark has announced the arrival of a musical drama titled 'Dream Moms'. Scheduled for a May 13 premiere, 'Dream Moms' is written by Roxanne Messina Captor and directed by Jessica Harmon. The film surrounds the lives of Danielle (Tamera Mowry-Housley) and Claire (Chelsea Hobbs), two individuals with a shared passion for the performing arts. Danielle's career as a Broadway performer and former singer contrasts with Claire's previous experience in dance. Despite their efforts, both have faced repeated rejection in their auditions. Danielle's story takes a turn when she ties the knot with Mark (Roger Cross) and has a daughter who pursues ballet in New York City.

Meanwhile, Claire raises her two sons as a single mother. Eventually, the two women band together and participate in an event with the unwavering support of their families. Tamera Mowry-Housley as Danielle Smith 

Mowry was born on July 6, 1978, in Gelnhausen, West Germany. Her father, Timothy John Mowry, served as a custody officer and jailer for the City of Glendale Police Department. Darlene Renee Mowry, her mother, formerly served in the US Army and later transitioned to be her children's manager, helping shape their career trajectories. Tia, her twin sister, and her two younger brothers, Tahj Mowry, a popular actor, and Tavior Mowry, a talented musician, all form part of her close-knit family. Mowry is happily married to Adam Housley, a well-known correspondent for Fox News, and they share two adorable children, Aden John Tanner Housley and Ariah Talea Housley. 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 65kg, Mowry is recognized for her striking black hair and captivating brown eyes. Her outstanding accomplishments have earned her an estimated net worth of $4 million.



 

Chelsea Hobbs as Claire Ryan

Hobbs was born on February 18, 1985, in the bustling city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Her father, Richard Hobbs, and mother, Dana Hobbs, were her pillars of support from the beginning. She showed an early inclination toward dancing and started exploring her passion at the tender age of 3. Being homeschooled, Hobbs had the flexibility to pursue her interests without compromising on her academics. She later moved to the glitzy city of Los Angeles at the age of 17 to broaden her horizons. She was admitted to an advanced secondary school art curriculum, where she honed her creative skills. Her zeal to become an accomplished actor led her to enroll in an intensive acting program.



 

Roger Cross as Mark 

Roger Cross was born in the picturesque island nation of Jamaica and spent the first eleven years of his life there. He later moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, along with his parents, two sisters, and two brothers. Cross pursued his passion for aviation and general studies, ultimately earning a degree from Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia. While studying, Cross also developed a keen interest in acting, which led him to enroll in Breck Academy. However, in 1990, while waiting for his flying job, he decided to try his hand at stunt work. He then went on to study acting at Breck Academy, and his first acting gig was in the movie 'The International Rescue', which was shot in the exotic locales of China, Vietnam, and Burma.



 

'Dream Moms' will premiere on Hallmark on May 13, 2023, at 8/7c.
