Blockbuster actors Chris, Liam and Luke Hemsworth are indisputably some of the hottest men in Hollywood. Both have worked in both movies and television and have charmed audiences the world over with their Australian charm and turns out there's one more Hemsworth who is ready to make a foray into the entertainment industry. Liam, Luke, and Chris's cousin Luke Van Os has announced his debut on Australian soap 'Home and Away'. He's following in the footsteps of Chris who played the part of Kim Hyde from 2004 to 2007. "I'm so excited to finally announce that I will be joining the Home and Away team," he announced on Instagram.

Luke is related to the Hemsworth brothers through his father. The latter and the Hemsworth matriarch Leonie are siblings, revealed The Daily Telegraph. Speaking to the outlet, Van Os said it was Chris who helped him get the role. "When I was asked for a callback for the chemistry test, I actually zoomed with Chris the night before and we ran it (the scene) and kind of just got into a good headspace," he said. According to IMDb, he has nine acting credits to his name including the TV series 'Bloom', and shorts 'Banana Split' and 'Ominous'.
Gauging by Van Os's Instagram page, he is an adventure enthusiast, knows how to strum a guitar, loves to ski, and enjoys being outdoors. He also harbors a great love for animals and there are some adorable photos of him with dogs, goats, and a horse on his feed. Coming back to his debut, Van Os also revealed he got some advice from Chris. "His advice was be nice, put in the work and the work doesn’t end now, if anything this is when you need to work hard," he said while admitting that he had been auditioning and acting for the past eight years but this is where the hard work starts. "Acting has been my passion for such a long time and for me to be able to make a living, pay my bills and do this every day is a dream. Endless people have come and done this show and gone on to have extremely long careers and I am just hoping that is what I can do, acting and making a living for as long as I can." Van Os said. The actor has already begun filming the scenes for the show. Guessing by his birthday photos, he has already made friends with the cast which includes names like Nicholas Cartwright, Jacqui Purvis, Kawakawa Fox-Reo, Matt Evans, and Courtney Alley - all of whom were present for the celebration.
