LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Like each one of us is inspired by someone in our lives, popular YouTubers MrBeast and Eric Decker also have a role model. These prominent influencers consider PewDiePie their godfather, for all the right reasons.

Pewds, who held the title of top YouTuber for a while, provided the spark that propelled MrBeast and Decker, also known as Airrack. Airrack produces content similar to MrBeast. On the other hand, MrBeast produces videos that are more grandiose in scope and size.

Airrack’s admiration for PewDiePie

A well-known YouTube vlogger, Airrack was born on January 12, 1997. The 26-year-old first became known as a result of his work with Logan Paul on the humorous 'Couch Series', which they both produced.

Later, Airrack distinguished himself by making elaborate challenge videos and vlogs in the same vein as MrBeast, but on a smaller scale.

Airrack took part in Wired's well-known ‘Web's Most Searched Questions’ feature during a one-on-one interview. "Is Airrack's father PewDiePie?" was a constant topic throughout the conversation. In response, Airrack said that he frequently claimed that PewDiePie was his father in his videos as a joke.

‘PewDiePie has always been the biggest YouTuber’

Airrack said that PewDiePie's long reign as the most popular YouTuber had motivated him to seek a career in online entertainment. “PewDiePie has always been the biggest YouTuber until MrBeast overtook him. Before that, he had been the biggest YouTuber on the planet for so long. And that’s my aspiration as well,” he stated.

PewDiePie discussed the recent wave of MrBeast imitations during an interview on the 'Trash Taste' podcast. He noted on the show that many creators tried to imitate his style and appeal while he was at the top.

According to Pewds, the number of wannabes has increased at an astounding pace since MrBeast gained popularity. The hosts of 'Trash Taste' also spoke about how, despite the existence of some "PewDiePie knockoffs," none of them have ever come close to MrBeast's outstanding work.
