Who is Skrillex? Fans and trolls go to war as DJ's pic with Jordan Peterson emerges
Twitter is a place that every now and then amuses people and recently it surprised everyone when American DJ Skrillex’s photo with Jordan Peterson appeared on it. The photo was shared on the social media site by Peterson himself, who is infamous for his conservative views on cultural and political issues.
Taking to Twitter, the Canadian clinical psychologist wrote, “Guess who,” along with a photo of him with Skrillex. The 34-year-old musician was standing beside him while keeping his left hand on Peterson and making a victory sign with his right hand. In another tweet, Peterson shared, “Good to see you yesterday @Skrillex.” But the recent interactions between the two have seemingly left many on the internet angry and frustrated.

Who is Skrillex?
Skrillex, whose real name is Sonny John Moore, is a DJ, record producer, musician, singer as well as songwriter. He reportedly started his career as a band member where he was a lead singer before he gained fame with the electro dance music genre. Not just that, in 2011 he was nominated for five Grammy awards and he won in three categories – best-remixed recording, best dance recording, and best dance album.
Art Loop Open reported that Skrillex “has gone on to win another five Grammy awards” since then and noted that he “currently holds the record for most Grammy awards scooped by dance music artist.” The website added that Skrillex “fame comes from the fact that he has imposed his character on the fans who understand his music. He also worked with various collaborating artists so as to remain relevant while also playing his music.”
However, due to his latest photo with Peterson, who is ill-famed for saying several “dumbest things”, like “There's no such thing as climate,” “We have this idea in our culture that you can be a woman born in a man's body, and that's not true,” and more, a volcano has erupted online. A user tweeted, “Soooooo... Skrillex in a photo with Jordan Peterson... I need to understand the context of that. Are they buds, or was it just a "photo op"? Is Skrillex like a white supremacist religious nutjob now or something? I thought skrillex was a queer champion?”

I really hope that skrillex fans can take today as an opportunity to realize that Jordan Peterson's not evil like all of their friends say.

I never thought Skrillex would disappoint me, and I’m still hesitant to admit that he has… but Jesus FUCK was hanging out with Jordan Peterson a bad move.
