Who is Silver Tree? ‘Suits’ producer reveals early stages of Harry and Meghan's romance on Netflix docuseries
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The first three episodes of 'Harry & Meghan' were finally released on Netflix on Thursday, December 8. A further three episodes will follow on December 15. The docuseries is directed by two-time Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Liz Garbus. According to Netflix, 'Harry & Meghan' is an "unprecedented and in-depth documentary series" that will show "the other side" of their well-known love story.
The early stages of their relationship and their decision to eventually leave their positions as senior members of the royal family in the series. According to Netflix, the series will also include comments from friends and relatives, the majority of whom have never spoken publicly about what they have observed. In the first episode, Meghan’s old friend and ‘Suits’ producer Silver Tree made her debut in the series, as she sheds light on the early stages of Harry and Meghan’s relationship.

Tree, recalled the early days of the royal’s relationship and reportedly said, "Meghan texted me from London and said, 'Silver, you're not going to believe this,' and that she was going to go out on a date with him and we thought it was really funny. In what world does this happen?" She then revealed how Harry and Meghan "invented" an arrangement for seeing each other at the beginning. “At the beginning of their relationship, Meghan often traveled to London and stayed at Kensington Palace so they could get to know each other behind closed doors,” Tree remarked.

Tree also sided with her friend Meghan after the controversies following her interview with Oprah in 2021. Fighting for Meghan, the TV guru supported their friendship by sharing a unique glimpse into their relationship. She tweeted from her official Twitter handle, “This is Meg before she met H. This is Meg now. She’s always been this person. She’s not a headline. She’s my friend. I love her."
Tree continued in another tweet, "This is Meg. A real person- not a cover story. She is one of my very nearest and dearest. Like all her friends I love her madly. She also shared photos of Meghan along with her tweets. In series one, a number of other friends of the couple, besides Tree, recollected how Harry and Meghan first became close. The list includes Lindsay Jill Roth, Lucy Fraser, Silver Tree and Jill Smoller, along with Harry's friend from Eton, Nicky. Professional polo player Nacho Figuera and Letsie, the King of Lesotho, also feature in the docuseries.
