Who knew Saucy Santana could pass off as Ricky Minaj?

The Florida-based rapper – Saucy Santana is known for being extra. So, on Friday, August 21, Saucy took to his Twitter to ask his loyal fans a rather interesting question. He posted a tweet asking his fans if he looked like Nicki Minaj. The rapper who appeared to be fishing for some generous compliments from his followers, also warned them in the same tweet that he wouldn't entertain comparisons to Rick Ross.

Saucy posted, "Do I look like @NICKIMINAJ? If y’all say Rick Ross I’m blocking u." The tweet is attached with a brief clip of Saucy in a mustard-colored tweed dress, and his hair was pulled back into a high pony, with a contrasting white bag and belt. The 26-year-old rapper was imitating Nicki's signature style and wanted to hear his fans' thoughts.

While quite a few fans saw the similarity between the 'Starships' rapper and Saucy, City Girls rapper JT's response to Saucy's post took the internet by storm. It looked like JT couldn't deny the striking similarity between Nicki Minaj and Saucy, while she also couldn't shake off how much Saucy looked like rapper Rick Ross. So, she decided to reply to Saucy's tweet by declaring that he looked like 'Ricky Minaj'. A play on the names of Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj. 

JT's response left the internet in splits. A fan tweeted, "Y’all....I ain’t know who the hell was Ricky Minaj  til I see why it’s trending. I thought Nicki Minaj had a Ricky Martin song or something. JT, Caresha and Santana are a mess."

"I thought Ricky Minaj was Nikki's un born son. lmfao but instead its a flamboyant bearded fat man lmfao," joked a fan.

In no time Ricky Minaj began trending all over Twitter, and fans couldn't handle it. A fan wrote, "I’m weak at “Ricky Minaj” trending."

"Lawdd Im thinking that Nicki named the baby Ricky Minaj only to see JT talkin bout Santana  this is sending me," expressed an amused fan.

Another fan shared, "lmao at Ricky Minaj trending and hella people not understanding why."

Luckily, Saucy knows how to take a joke and playfully replied back to JT's Ricky Minaj tweet. He wrote, "If you can’t do nothing else you know how to embarrass me! You know that?!" Saucy's rap career took off after his track 'Walk Em Like a Dog' became an instant hit on SoundCloud. According to reports, the song had a million of streams in less than a week. In an interview, Santana revealed how he recorded the song in a closet. He said, "I had a little mic and I had little headphones, we were in the closet, and I just recorded the song then. And then I put it out on SoundCloud initially.”

Saucy, who is openly gay, has a rather interesting story behind his name.“Before I was a rapper, I was a trapper. That’s one of the names that the boys from the hood gave me. They used to call me Santana. Then my cousin used to be like, I love the way you dress, you look so saucy. So I collaged them together. It has that ring to it, huh?" revealed Saucy.
