POTOMAC, MARYLAND: Nneka Ihim grew up under the care, supervision, and influence of her parents, Dr Leo Egbujiobi, an Interventional cardiologist stationed in the United States, and his wife, Bridget Egbujiobi, who moved to the United States from Nigeria in 1979. In the most recent episode of 'The Real Housewives of Potomac', newbie, Nneka, revealed how her father inspired her to establish herself in society.

Nneka's sister compared the 'RHOP' star to their father, who is successful and a workaholic. Nneka recalls that their father "grew up with nothing."

In her confessional, Nneka mentioned that her father is the ideal example of going barefoot to school. When he arrived in America, it was not easy for him either.

His father began working in the United States as a taxi driver. Nneka feels awestruck by him.

As a result, her parents had great expectations for her from the start. She has always prioritized her family.

Leo, a cardiologist located in Nigeria and the United States, has more than 31 years of expertise. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he contributed life-saving medical equipment to the Anambra State government to help with the outbreak's containment.

Since his arrival in Beloit in 1994, Leo has been at the vanguard of the Beloit Health System's efforts to provide breakthrough cardiac procedures and therapies to local patients. In the summer of 2007, he collaborated with cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Peter Marks to perform the first open-heart surgery (coronary bypass surgery) in Beloit.

Dr Leo also founded the Egbujiobi Family Award for Excellence in Cardiac Care in 2003, which is given annually to a Beloit Health System employee who has demonstrated exceptional service and leadership in cardiac patient care. His generosity and volunteer spirit have spread beyond the confines of Beloit and our country.

He helped build a hospital in his home nation of Nigeria and frequently returned to offer free care to those in need. Leo received his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 1987.

Between 1988 and 1991, he finished his residency and internship at the University of Wisconsin - Mount Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine,Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine.
