But, the appearance that caught everyone's attention was actress and model Nana who became a part of Big Hit Entertainment after the company acquired Pledis. Nana is seen singing along to 'Dynamite' in the video which is quickly racking up views. So, as Nana trends, the question arises: Who is Nana? Let's take a look.

Who is Nana?

The 29-year-old Nana is a South Korean singer, actress and model known for her work as a member of the K-pop girl group After School and its subgroups Orange Caramel and After School Red. As an actress, Nana has starred in various television dramas such as 'Love Weaves Through a Millennium', 'The Good Wife', 'Kill It', and 'Justice'. Nana was also a participant in the 2009 Asia Pacific Super Model Contest and, in 2009, debuted in After School as a third-generation member with the release of EP 'Because of You'. In June 2010, Nana, along with After School members Raina and Lizzy, formed a sub-unit called Orange Caramel. Her first solo song, 'Close Your Eyes', was included in Orange Caramel's third single, 'Shanghai Romance'.

In 2011, Nana became part of the After School sub-unit A.S. Red along with After School members Kahi, Jungah, and Uee, releasing the single 'In the Night Sky'. Later she ventured into modeling as the main model for the Tokyo Girls Collection fashion show. The same year, she joined fellow K-pop stars Hyolyn, Hyuna, Hyoseong, and Nicole to form supergroup Dazzling Red, and became the endorsement model for the biggest diet brand in Korea, Juvis. Nana was also a permanent panelist on the Japanese fashion TV show, 'Tokyo Brandnew Girls'. In 2013, Nana gained global recognition when she placed second on the Independent Critics List of 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2013. She rose to #1 position in 2014 and placed first again in 2015.

What the Internet has to say

Fans of BTS were quick to react to the star's appearance in the Dynamite video. One fan tweeted, "Nana is absolutely stunning. A goddess walking amongst us mere mortals," while another said, "By the way, Nana is one of the legends in the K-pop industry. First place on most beautiful faces in the world back in 2014-2015, one of the most successful idol-actress, one of the top visuals in the second generation of K-pop, etc"

A different fan added, "HOLY MOLLY!!! I DIDN'T KNOW NANA WAS UNDER BH! She is a singer, actress, and model. She was ranked as #1 most beautiful faces in the world for two consecutive years. Damn!! And she is also known for a South Korean girl group After School," while another wrote, "wow so people just found out how beautiful Nana is? I mean she's literally won TC Candler beautiful faces back to back in 2014 and 2015." One more fan tweeted, "Nana is actually GFriend Sowon’s cousin and mentor since debut. Nana has served as a creative director for Big Hit Labels behind the scenes while being on hiatus as an idol and during her breaks as an actress."
