LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tom Brady returned to the field this weekend but this time, it was to see another outstanding Brady athlete dominate their competition. The 45-year-old now twice-retired NFL superstar attended a UCLA softball game to watch his niece Maya Brady play against Arizona State.
Afterward, the former quarterback took to his Instagram to share videos and pictures, with smiling Maya, who went home a winner. In the post, Brady shared a selfie with Maya and several pictures where she was seen acing her game on the field. “Night at the ballpark. Big W!” Brady captioned the post. Maya then responded to her uncle with a sweet message and wrote, “I love you, Uncle Tommy. Thank you for coming!!!!” Tom is time and again seen speaking out loud about Maya’s marvelous game. In 2019, he told Boston Globe, “I think Maya is already the most athletic person of the family.”

Who is Maya Brady?
Maya is the daughter of Brady's older sister Maureen, who was also a competitive athlete and a star pitcher. Her dad’s name is Brian Timmons, however, he has not been present in her life, according to Fanbuzz. Born in 2004, Maya started her softball journey at Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, California, where she played on the school’s team. When it came time for college selection, Maya was ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the country.
Maya is currently a star player in the UCLA team, which is on a 15-game winning streak following a weekend three-game sweep of the Sun Devils, according to DailyMail. The 5ft10-inch-tall athlete is hitting .449 with a 1.403 OPS in 47 games played this season. As per UCLA’s website, Maya shattered a UCLA record that had stood for 24 years by collecting 11 straight base hits between February 10-12, 2023. She is tied for the third most bases in a game in UCLA history and has the third-highest career slugging percentage at UCLA.
In January 2022, Maya signed an exclusive contract with the renowned agency WME Sports. She recently collaborated with Champion on an intriguing commercial that featured Saweetie. “I just had to tell myself to kind of let go of the fear of being uncomfortable or not wanting to dance because these people had such an incredible vision,” Maya told Boardoom about the photoshoot. Speaking about her personal life, Maya is currently dating James Dinneen, who graduated from UCLA in 2022, according to Hola Magazine.
