Reese Witherspoon and Tom Brady respond to dating rumors amid recent splits
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Reese Witherspoon and Tom Brady have finally addressed the dating rumors. Lately, reports have been doing the rounds that they have gotten together after their separations from their respective partners.
But now their representatives have debunked those reports and said that they are not true at all, as reported by PEOPLE. Besides, an insider spilled that Witherspoon and Brady have never seen each other personally yet. This comes after it was reported in late March that the 47-year-old actress filed for divorce from her husband Jim Toth, with whom she had been married for over a decade.

‘We are moving forward with deep love’
The two share a 10-year-old son named Tennessee James Toth. Witherspoon and her 52-year-old ex-husband issued a joint statement last month that said, “We have some personal news to share... It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce.”
The former couple added, “We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together. Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter. These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone's respect for our family's privacy at this time.”
Also, an insider told PEOPLE at the time, “They really are the best of friends and this is such an amicable decision. They are so committed to co-parenting together. They are invested in their whole family and making this as smooth as possible for everyone.”
‘She is the one steering the divorce’
On the other hand, Brady’s marriage with Gisele Bündchen fell apart last year. In October 2022, a tipster told PEOPLE, “The settlement is all worked out. They've been working on the terms this whole time. They agreed to joint custody of the kids.” The duo have two children together -- Benjamin Brady and Vivian Lake Brady.
Another source reportedly shared that it was Bündchen who wanted a divorce. They stated, “She is the one steering the divorce. She is playing offense and he is playing defense. He wants to protect himself, protect his interests, but he's only starting to go the legal route in his defense from her. He doesn't want this to be ugly, he doesn't want to fight. If the divorce is happening — and it seems like it is — he wants it to go as smoothly as possible.”
Recently, the Brazilian fashion model addressed her equation with the NFL star for Vanity Fair’s April cover story. She told the magazine, “We're not playing against each other. We are a team. And that's beautiful.”
Shockingly, Brady and Bündchen’s divorce news came just months after they happily celebrated their 13 years of marriage in February. The 45-year-old athlete posted on Instagram, “13 years ago, we both said ‘I do’ ….and you have been the best thing that ever happened to my life. I love you more now than I ever could have imagined. You are the best mother and wife and supporter in the world and I am blessed to call you my wife. Te amo muito meu amor, happy anniversary @gisele.”
And, the 42-year-old simply posted, “Happy anniversary love of my life! Te amo! ❤️ @tombrady.”
