Cook, born on May 9, 1995, in Plantation, Florida, is the fifth child of Kevin and Laura Cook, who provides unwavering support for her. Cook's parents often attend her games and they were even at the Rio Olympics to root for her. Cook has often credited her success to her parents and siblings' unwavering support.
