Who is Johnie Maraist's ex-husband Mike Hulick? 'Love is Blind' Season 5 star dubs him 'rebound' after longest relationship
HOUSTON, TEXAS: Netflix's 'Love is Blind' Season 5 star Johnie Maraist was married before coming on the show and had briefly mentioned her relationship with her ex-husband, who is a bartender.
According to Distractify, Johnie's ex-husband is Mike Hulick, whom Johnie divorced in 2017. It is not revealed when exactly they got married.
According to Mike Hulick's Instagram profile, he is a bartender and a brown belt.
While on 'Love is Blind' Season 5, Johnie revealed that the first and only man she ever loved wasn't her ex-husband Mike. Despite being married to Mike, Johnie claimed on the show that she never loved him.
"My longest relationship was with someone who struggled with addiction," she told fellow contestant Izzy Zapata. But unfortunately, the addiction caused friction between them and they broke up. The person whom Johnie loved, unfortunately, died of a drug overdose.
Revealing that she never actually loved her ex-husband, Johnie told Izzy on the show, "My ex-husband was basically like a rebound."
Is 'Love is Blind' Season 5 star Johnie Maraist dating now?
Johnie connected with Izzy Zapata in the show. Despite her being attracted to him, Izzy did not feel the same. He went on to choose Stacy Synder, leaving Johnie heartbroken.
Later, Johnie tried building a connection with Chris Fox. However, things did not work out as Chris did not like being Johnie's second choice.
Although they connected after the show and started dating each other, the couple is no longer together. It is not yet clear whether Johnie is dating anyone now.
Tempers rise on 'Love is Blind: The Reunion'
In the trailer of 'Love is Blind: The Reunion', it is revealed that Johnie gets into a heated argument with Izzy's ex-fiance Stacy and is shown hiding her face as she cries.
Stacy also tells Johnie, "If you want to go there, let's pop the top."
Another clip of the reunion shows Chris Fox saying, "It doesn't always end in a fairytale." The viewers can expect some heated exchange between Stacy and Johnie as they come face-to-face in the reunion.
'Love is Blind: The Reunion' Season 5 will air on Sunday, October 15, at 8 pm ET on Netflix.
