NEVADA, LAS VEGAS: Jennifer Goicoechea, a Miami native, came into the limelight after being linked with 'OMG' singer Usher. She pursued her education at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, where she studied recording arts after completing high school. Her mother, Barbara, served as the director of operations at ACT Productions from 1988.
Jennifer had the opportunity to shadow her mother at the event and multimedia production company, which later paved the way for her role as an assistant to singer Ciara. Then Goicoechea opened her management company Boogs’N’Effect and in 2014, became the director of rhythm & soul (urban) at ASCAP. In 2016, she joined Epic Records, as its senior vice president of A&R.

The couple applied for a marriage license on Thursday, according to USA Today. This upcoming union would be Jennifer Goicoechea's first marriage and Usher's third.
"She's better at (communicating) than me in many lights. I'm a man-man, so I'm like, 'This is what we're doing', and I might be a little bit more disciplinary at times," Usher said of their parenting styles. "If there's a slap and a hug, I'm the slap and she's the hug. But that creates balance," he said to the People Magazine.

The exact details of how Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea met are not widely known, but they have been friends for a long time, as they were photographed together in 2016 and have posted images with each other. In October 2019, a few months after Keith Thomas’ party, they were spotted kissing backstage at the Hollywood Bowl. By December of that year, they were officially stepping out as a couple and attended Sean 'Diddy' Combs’ birthday in Los Angeles, where Usher was performing.
Their daughter, Sovereign Bo, was born on September 24, just a few weeks later. Usher shared a picture of her little hand wrapped around his, writing in the caption, “We are feeling blessed and full of love with the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond. ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ by Stevie Wonder on repeat.” Their second child, Sire Castrello, was born on September 29, 2021.
