LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Despite an update from Jamie Foxx himself, it is speculated that the Oscar-winning actor is "still in the same condition" after suffering a “medical emergency” on April 12. Following his mysterious illness, Fox’s daughter, Corinne took to her social media to update his fans about the actor’s health. While filming for the movie ‘Back in Action’ co starring Cameron Diaz, the ‘Django Unchained’ actor succumbed to the illness. Since then he has been hospitalized while the film wrapped up shooting with his body double.

Recently in an update from May 4, an insider told Page Six that “Nothing had changed,” commenting on Foxx’s health that, “He was still in the same condition.” However, the fans of the actor are still in confusion regarding what really happened to the Golden Globe-winning actor as the family of the extremely private actor has not divulged much. Now a day later, People reports that a person in the actor's immediate circle reportedly informed them that "Jamie is stable and not in a life-threatening situation now." Not much information has been shared online as multiple reports about the actor's health have emerged another source in film production speaking to People has shared that while Foxx is a "tough guy," his loved ones "are worried and praying for his recovery." "His family and friends are supporting him and are there for him," the film source says. "There has been no word on when he is leaving the hospital."

Who handles Jamie Foxx's social media?

On May 4, Foxx shared on his Instagram, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed" followed by a slew of emojis. It is, however, unclear whether the post was made by the multifaceted actor himself. 

‘He's recovering’

Foxx’s co-star from the movie ‘All Star Weekend’, Natasha Blasick has given a hopeful update on the ‘Ray’ actor’s health. Talking to Entertainment Tonight, she revealed how scared she was regarding Foxx’s health. Blasick said,  "I was texting him, and just yesterday I talked to his friend, who's like really in touch with him. I was, like, really freaking out [with] all of the news that he's getting worse. So I was texting [his friend], and he's like, 'No, no, no, he's recovering.' So just hearing that he was recovering made me feel so much better."

She added, "I'm just praying. And my friend yesterday reached out to me, and she's like, 'Let's pray together.' I mean, it's really crazy," before adding, "All we have in this world is our health. Our life. So it's very scary."

‘They’re being tight … about where he is’

Kevin Hart shared with host Logan Paul on ‘Impaulsive’, his Wednesday, May 3, podcast that three weeks into his hospitalization, Foxx is “getting better”, however, he also said he doesn’t know the “exact details” as Foxx’s family is being tight-lipped about the accident.

The ‘Jumanji’ alum further said, “They’re being tight … about where he is because Jamie’s always been a private person to a certain degree,” before adding, “Everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy — all that stuff is seen and felt.”

“In this case, man, you just want the guy to get out of the situations and then get back home,” shared the ‘Night School’ star in the podcast.

A concerned fan commented, "Another day … with no update on Jamie Foxx …" The second one said, "I tried to tell you.... "Jamie Foxx's condition 'has NOT changed"." Another fan said in good faith, "Still praying for Jamie Foxx. Hope everything is good ." One skeptical fan tweeted: "People really believe these celebrities run their own social media and it’s cute lol Lmfaoo “Jamie Foxx updated fans that…” No, HIS SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT UPDATED FANS. Huge difference. And y’all supposed to be the media lol."

Another commented controversially, "Allegedly jamie foxx is dead along with others their just waiting to release the news on it, then their gonna stream his shows & music heavy to make money off of his death." Someone else made another controversial comment, "When you realize Jamie Foxx’s new movie was gonna expose the government conspiracy, and when he spoke about P. Diddy’s 'private parties' he’s been hospitalised." Another reiterated, "So Jamie Foxx mentioned Diddy being gas like everyone else mentioned it and he ends up in the hospital for going on 3 weeks now. I’m convinced he’s actually dead already. They are just waiting for the perfect time to say. “We tried everything”."
