LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cameron Diaz doesn't seem to be getting a break. The actress was all amped up to come back to Hollywood with her upcoming movie 'Back in Action' starring Jamie Foxx, but a last-minute discovery led to the movie plunging into chaos. At the time of the unusual find, the production team was all set to shoot two massive stunts, but at the last moment, an old explosive from the World War II era was discovered on the set. The shooting was taking place at East London’s Royal Docks, but due to a sudden bomb discovery, the shoot was canceled and the news of its resumption hasn't been revealed. The production was expecting the scene to go off with a bomb, but in an ironic turn of events, a bomb literally halted an explosion sequence.

This isn't the first time that production for the movie has come to a halt, a source told The Sun, "The cancellation was a massive blow to the film, which has already experienced a few issues. After the two stunts were canned, they were filmed on green screen at Longcross Studios in Surrey."

The stunt was booked to take place last month. A barrier was being erected into the river, where the explosion was supposed to take place. But, it is believed that while building the set, the bomb was discovered and that led to the entire production coming to a halt. "Safety was the main priority, so after speaking with the police and relevant authorities the whole thing was cancelled. Naturally, that part of the river is never normally disturbed, so it’s been left as it is." a source said.

'Charlie's Angels' star's comeback

The movie was Cameron Diaz's Hollywood comeback after being 'out of the game' for quite some time. Diaz and Foxx have were last seen working together in 'Annie' (2014) and 'Any Given Sunday' (1999). Despite this, concerns were raised against Diaz's co-star and Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx, who had an on-set meltdown after witnessing the project coming to a halt on many occasions.
