Bradley Sinclair was one of the contestants who landed on the blind auditions on the fourth episode of ‘The Voice’ Season 20. While looking all dapper in a formal avatar, the young and talented crooner covered James Arthur's hit single ‘Say You Won't Let Go’ and tried his best to impress all the coaches.

However, the 22-year-old singer, who currently lives in Nashville, got mixed reaction from the judges as he could only manage a two-chair turn. Kelly Clarkson was the first one to turn around after a couple of seconds. Nick Jonas soon followed the same route as he looked forward to expanding his team with Sinclair. Blake Shelton and John Legend, unfortunately, did not turn their big red chairs around at all.

Who is Bradley Sinclair?

Sinclair’s audition on James Arthur's song did get a thumbs up from Kelly and Nick as they both showered their praises on the singer. Trying his best to convince Sinclair, Nick said, “You got an amazing vocal foundation you are build on. It would be an honour to be your coach and I think, we are going to have a lot of fun together.” To which, Sinclair reverted “Yes, we could sing some old Jonas Brothers’ song.”

Kelly, on the other hand, said, “I am not a Jonas Brother but I am cool enough to be named in their song. I turned first and I love your voice and love the passion in it and would love to have you in my team.” For the uninitiated, Jonas Brothers’ song ‘Year 3000’ includes lyrics referencing Kelly which go: “I took a trip to the year 3000, This song had gone multi-platinum/ Everybody bought our 7th album, It had outsold Kelly Clarkson.” After much deliberation, Sinclair picked Nick as his coach for the rest of his ‘The Voice’ journey.

Speaking of Sinclair, he is originally from Rockford but lives in Nashville. He is dedicated to his music career and plays the guitar exceptionally well. A self-taught pianist, Sinclair began singing around age 11. His Instagram bio reads, “In Nashville Creating for the Creator. Friend of Jesus YOU ARE LOVED!” His debut release was a Christian song called ‘Heaven Reigns Down’ in 2019 and then he dropped three singles in 2020 namely ‘Where is Mine’, ‘Good Enough’ and ‘Along the Way’.

‘You have much to learn from Nick Jonas’

Apart from Kelly and Nick, Sinclair also got a thrilling response from fans online. Social media users praised him for his singing skills. One user, on the same lines, said, “Bradley Sinclair showing off his clean baritone and a lil falsetto. He has a guttural approach that fits the verses and then switches it up got the title line. Nice #TheVoice #VoiceBlinds.”

Another stated, “My newest claim to fame is now the fact that I was in a HS musical production of “Bye, Bye, Birdie” with THE Bradley Sinclair and newest member of #TeamNick on #TheVoice. So excited to see Rockford represented and root for #TeamSinclair! #GoRams.” One added, “#TheVoice @nickjonas great win with bradley Sinclair.” The next one concluded, “Welcome to The Voice Bradley! You have much to learn from @nickjonas  From one Michigander to another....good luck! My best friend from Jr. High lives in Rockford!”
