LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis were together for nearly a decade before splitting up. Their break up was major news last year when Wilde was served with custody papers for their children while on stage at CinemaCon 2022, speaking about her new film ‘Don't Worry Darling.'
After meeting at a Saturday Night Live finale party in 2011, the former couple began dating and became engaged the following year. They had a son, and a daughter before calling it quits in 2020. The matter once again came to light after it was revealed by TMZ that the couple is fighting once again — this time over how to handle child support.

Wilde and Sudeikis have two children together — their son Otis Alexander, 8, and daughter Daisy Josephine, 5. On April 20, 2014, Sudeikis and Wilde welcomed their baby Otis Alexander. Several days after her son's birth, the first-time mother revealed the good news and his name on Twitter writing, "Ladies and gentlemen, Otis Alexander Sudeikis has LEFT the building! Wilde and Sudeikis had a daughter Daisy Josephine on October 11, 2016, after announcing her second pregnancy in April 2016. A few days later, the star posted the first photo of her newborn daughter on Instagram, writing, "There goes the neighborhood. Daisy Josephine Sudeikis. Born, like a boss, on #internationaldayofthegirl."

The turbulent relationship between Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis came under the spotlight even more when Wilde was given a manila envelope labeled ‘personal and confidential’ midway through her speech on Don't Worry Darling, a film she made starring Harry Styles and Florence Pugh, at CinemaCon on April 26, 2022.
She opened the papers, took a quick peek at them, and then continued with the performance. The following day, it was revealed that the mysterious envelope was from Jason Sudeikis' legal team, concerning custody of their children. According to PEOPLE, a few months later a judge granted Wilde's motion to dismiss Sudeikis' move to have custody related matters handled in New York in August 2022. Instead, the judge said all child custody related matter would be handled in LA, California.
Recently TMZ revealed that Sudeikis' New York lawyer, Bill Beslow, appeared in a New York court on January 4 and requested that the judge handle all child support matters. Sudeikis is reportedly willing to pay Wilde a reasonable sum in child support, which will be determined by the two of them or a New York judge. The judge has scheduled a hearing date for February 15.
Sources close to Olivia say that the actress, on the other hand, wants both custody and child support matters to be handled in LA, not New York. Thus her LA lawyer, Laura Wasser, and Olivia's counsel in New York have reportedly filed a court appeal asking the New York judge to dismiss Sudeikis' team's move to handle child support in New York. So while Sudeikis and Wilde have been hugging it out for photogs, it seems like their dispute is far from over as custody and child support matters drag on in court.
