'Should have worried darling': Internet trolls Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde for 'split' after 2 years of dating

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have taken a break from their relationship after two years due to "different priorities that are keeping them apart," according to a report. A source close to them said, "He's still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in LA. It's a very amicable decision. They're still very close friends." 

A friend of the duo told Daily Mail, "Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart. The public pressure on them has been difficult. They've had ups and downs throughout the relationship." On Friday, November 18, a smiling Olivia was spotted leaving a gym in Studio City in LA, sporting a Ghostbusters tee just before the news of their split broke. She looked in a good mood as she walked down the street amid her painful separation. The 38-year-old was last seen with Harry at his November 15 concert in LA's Kia Forum along with her two children. Olivia shares son Otis, 8, and daughter Daisy, 6, with ex-fiance Jason Sudeikis.

The pair first came across each other in September 2020 when Harry replaced Shia LaBeouf and was cast as actress Florence Pugh's husband in 'Don't Worry Darling'. The 28-year-old singer made his acting debut in Christopher Nolan's 2017 film 'Dunkirk'. Harry signed up for Olivia's film after impressing both director Olivia and star Florence. A couple of months later Olivia split from 'Ted Lasso' actor Jason, 47, which reportedly left him "absolutely heartbroken."

In January, the Hollywood actress was pictured arriving at the former One Direction member's LA home with her luggage in hand after "growing close" to each other on the set of 'Don't Worry Darling'. They were then seen driving around California together again later in the same month. The couple was first publicly spotted holding hands at Harry's agent's wedding at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California.

Olivia spoke on the "false narrative" related to the relationship with Harry in December last year, with whom she went public just two months after splitting with actor Jason Sudeikis. Olivia was seen cheering on her beau in April 2022, while he performed his headlining slot at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California. Harry admitted he's "had his own journey figuring out his sexuality" in August this year and even unwrapped about having children in his first joint interview with Olivia to Rolling Stone. During the interview, Olivia praised her boyfriend for his positive attitude and called his fans "deeply loving people."

The split comes from an alleged feud between Harry and his co-star Florence Pugh. In July, rumors began circulating that the 'Midsommar' star had a fallout with director Wilde when she failed to promote the psychological thriller, 'Don't Worry Darling', in any real way both publicly and on social media.

One night they had a bit of a snog, all very light-hearted and a bit of fun, and that was that", an insider told The Sun. "It was being gossiped about by a couple of members of production, otherwise no one would have known. Harry was very much single at the time and Florence had separated from Zach Braff, although she’d kept the split quiet to — ironically — avoid headlines. There was no cheating or misbehavior from anyone. However, later on, Harry and Olivia started spending more time together — sneaking off for coffees, hanging out in one another’s trailers, and sharing small, routine intimacies."

One user came up with a witty tweet, seemingly taking a shot at the movie "Don't Worry Darling" and wrote, "Should have worried darling." "Yes daddy is single," wrote another user. One tweeted, "I thought they were already broke up" and another wrote, "today is a good day!" "Hopefully he breaks up from the music industry next," tweeted an individual.
