Who are Don Lewis' daughters? Carole Baskin’s ‘dead’ husband’s family denies claims of him being alive
TAMPA, FLORIDA: Carole Baskin's recent claims of her husband, Don Lewis, being "alive and well" has not settled well with the missing husband's family. The 'Tiger King' star has revived her decades-long beef with Lewis' family. The family has accused Baskin of manipulating a letter seen in Netflix’s 'Tiger King 2' to create a different narrative about Lewis' disappearance.
The Lewis daughters told, "In the past few days, we’ve learned of recent news articles being published claiming that our Dad, Jack Donald Lewis, has been found ‘alive and well,’ in Costa Rica," as per New York Post. However, Lewis' family spokesperson, Jack Smith, told that the daughters are upset with Baskin's assertions. He added, "I think she’s just trying to do anything she can to clear her name." The 61-year-old animal activist, Baskin, has been previously accused of murdering her husband, putting the remains through a meat grinder, and feeding it to the tigers, as per the outlet.

Who are Don Lewis' daughters?
Don Lewis raised three daughters, Donna Pettis, Lynda Sanchez, and Gale Rathbone. Not much information about the daughters is made public. However, their statement continued, "While we would certainly welcome the good news of our dad being found alive, it’s just simply not true. In late 1997, we were notified by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department that a report existed from US Customs stating that our Dad had been seen in Costa Rica. This report prompted Donna, the oldest daughter of Don Lewis, and her husband, Tim, to travel to Costa Rica in November of 1997 to look for Don Lewis."
It further read, "This was the same report that was shown in ‘Tiger King 2’ that is now being used to fill a different narrative as to what happened to our father. Our father is still listed as a missing person on the National Missing and Unidentified Persons database. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department is still actively working on our dad’s case, and we are in constant communication with them as they continue to move forward."
