LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Charlize Theron has always stood out be it for her choices of movies or her personal opinions. Theron was most recently seen on Netflix's 'The School for Good and Evil' playing Lady Lesso, who was the headmistress for the school of Evil. Howbeit, 'The School for Good and Evil' also had an ensemble cast that represented Oscar winner, Michelle Yeoh, Kerry Washington ('Scandal'), and the main stars of the film, Sophia Anne Caruso, and Sofia Wylie. The fantasy film was helmed by none other than Paul Feig who has also directed movies like: 'Bridesmaid,' and 'Ghostbusters'. However, Theron has recently blasted people disapproving of the drag queen community and their exposure to children during a pro-drag queen. Speaking of children, let's take a look at Theron's beautiful two daughters. Read more to find out.

Charlize Theron's pro-trans telethon

According to DailyMail, Charlize Theron recently spoke in the 'Drag Isn’t Dangerous' telethon where Theron was filmed alongside several of her friends telling critics of drag to back off. The 'Atomic Blonde" star comments alluded to conservative lawmakers trying to pass laws keeping sexual drag queen performances from being exposed to kids, claiming that there are plenty of other things that are more of a danger to children than drag queens, who she added bring more happiness and love to the world. Theron’s video represented one of many celebrities’ appearances at the 'Drag is Not Dangerous' fundraiser, a live telethon event over the weekend put on by Hollywood organization Producer Entertainment Group and major LGBTQ organizations. The event was organized with the goal of raising money for these LGBTQ groups to combat bills being pushed in red states like Tennessee and Texas to regulate drag performances in public areas so that minors are not exposed to them."

Who are Charlize Theron's daughters?

Charlize Theron's journey of motherhood traces back to 2012, when she adopted her daughter, Jackson, after which she welcomed another daughter, August in 2015. In 2018, the 'Monster' star revealed she was largely inspired by her own upbringing in South Africa, which exposed her to orphanages and children in need in her community at a young age. However, the mom of two recently explained why her older daughter who was introduced as a boy primarily is being raised as a girl. As per DailyMail, she said, "Yes, I thought she was a boy, too,' Charlize agrees, briskly. 'Until she looked at me when she was three years old and said: 'I am not a boy! So there you go! I have two beautiful daughters who, just like any parent, I want to protect and want to see thrive. They were born who they are and exactly where in the world both of them get to find themselves as they grow up, and who they want to be, is not for me to decide." She continued, "My job as a parent is to celebrate them and to love them and to make sure that they have everything they need in order to be what they want to be. And I will do everything in my power for my kids to have that right and to be protected within that."
