LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Couples meeting on reality television is not a new phenomenon, but the ties appear to be deeper on 'American Ninja Warrior'.

James 'The Beast' McGrath and Allyssa Beird

The two are affectionate and supportive of one another, but they are also fiercely competitive. The two are so evenly matched that they frequently fall at the same obstacle, finish the Wall simultaneously, and sprint step for step when racing head to head.
