Who is Anderson Paak's wife Jaylyn Chang? How love blossomed between teacher and student at music school
Rapper Anderson Paak met his wife and the mother of his two kids, Jaylyn Chang, in the mid-2000s. He had adopted the stage name Breezy Lovejoy and was following his passion to make music even though it didn't turn out to be fruitful back then and he went to bed starving almost every night.
Paak was pursuing an education at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles but tuition was expensive and he decided to drop out but the school let him stay as a teacher's assistant. He was thankful for the job but it didn't seem to fill his pockets and he continued living the squatter where he could. But this was the place where he met his wife Chang.

Who is Anderson Paak's wife Jaylyn?
Jaylyn Chang is a gospel singer with Urban Pilgrims Church. She was born in South Korea and came to the USA to pursue music. She was a student at the same institute that Paak was a teaching assistant at and it didn't take long for love to blossom between the two. The two have seen some lowest of lows in their lives but they've come out stronger as a couple and the days of struggle are behind them.
"She's the one who came from Korea, didn't speak [any] English, she's [the one who has] the balls," Paak said referencing the rough times they faced together. While the couple lead very private lives, Chang had opened up once about the time when they got married. In November 2010, the couple found out they were expecting their first child and that was it for them. No proposals were made, just a mutual agreement that it was the right thing to do.
“When I got pregnant, it just happened,” she said, adding, “We got married at a label services center office that specializes in immigration.” The couple faced some of their toughest times after they got married. To support the family, Paak became a farmhand at an illegal weed farm in Santa Barbara.
Paak chopped, hung, trimmed, and bagged multiple pounds of marijuana and earned $5000 a week if he chose to live on the farm and sleep in the stash house. Working regular hours would make him around $3000 a week. In the meanwhile, Chang was staying at Timen's house in Thousand Oaks - a hostel in North Hollywood.
The couple weathered all these circumstances and they've been married for a decade now. Paak and Chang live in a modest house in the southern end of California's San Fernando Valley. They've expanded their brood further after they welcomed their second son three years ago who they've named Shine. You can see pictures of Paak and Chang's son on the former's Instagram account.
