NEWARK, NEW JERSEY: Whitney Houston continues to shine years after her death. The legendary singer died at the age of 48 on February 11, 2012. She was found drowned in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub on the eve of 2012 Grammy Awards, reportedly after a cocaine binge. Now it has been revealed that her estate has signed a series of mega commercial deals that will make a grand fortune all over again.

Reports say the 'I Will Always Love You' singer's family will be allegedly getting all the money her estate makes. With an already existing luxury perfume line, the late singer's estate will earn more money from a movie that will be released in the UK by Sony on Boxing Day and will star British actress Naomi Ackie. This will be followed by a Broadway show about the iconic songstress's life. A gospel album of unreleased songs, a spectacular Vegas show, and the return of the much-derided 'hologram tour' have also been planned, reported Daily Mail.

In addition to the above, Houston's makeup line with Mac will also be introduced soon. The makeup collection will be labeled Nippy, after the star's childhood nickname, claimed a source. After the huge success of the cover of Stevie Wonder's "Higher Ground" last year, her re-releases of less familiar recordings will also be coming out soon. While the singers' last years were plagued with money issues, funds are now set to pour in as never before.

One of the beneficiaries from her fortune is Houston's mother Cissy, with whom she shared a tumultuous relationship. Her brother Gary Garland also benefits from the estate, while his wife Pat is the executor in charge of finalizing the deals. And another beneficiary is her oldest brother Michael Houston, who allegedly admitted to introducing his sister to drugs.

Who is Whitney Houston's brother Michael?

The iconic singer's oldest brother Michael and she shared a great bond, but little did they know that the bond would one day be the cause of the star's death. Michael was born on August 14, 1961. The 'Its Not Right But Its Ok' singer was found dead due to accidental drowning but an autopsy later revealed cocaine abuse as a contributing factor. Many suspected Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown responsible for her drug addiction, but Michael later revealed he introduced her to drugs. Speaking to Oprah Winfrey in a tell-all interview, Michael said, "I feel responsible I let it go so far."

"We were always being together most of the time and her following behind me. I taught her to drive, we played together, everything you do as you're growing up," he told Oprah. Michael said he was the first person she ever did drugs with, not the singer’s ex-husband Bobby. Michael admitted feeling extremely guilty about his sister’s death, but said he didn’t quite realize just how dangerous drugs could be when he started getting high with Whitney.

“You gotta understand at the time … the ’80s … it was acceptable,” he told Oprah. “It’s painful … I feel responsible for what I let go so far.” Michael admitted he started taking drugs again following Houston's death but has now been sober since October 2012.
