Where is Julian Valentine now? 'My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now' star lost weight after father's death
HOUSTON, TEXAS: Dr Younan Nowzaradan stated that Julian Valentine needed to shed an extra 300 pounds to be cleared for skin removal surgery when TLC viewers last saw him. Julian seems to be doing well these days and has even dropped weight based on his social media posts.
However, when he appeared on 'My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now?' Season 9, Episode 3, he struggled to lose weight by the end of the show, and mostly blamed his failure on eating junk with his young son.
He just marked his son's third birthday in May, demonstrating that his adoption journey was undoubtedly successful. Julian announced on Facebook that he was seeing someone new; thus, he and his ex-wife, Irma, are no longer together.
Who is Julian Valentine in 'My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now' Season 9?
When Julian made his television debut on 'My 600-lb Life' in 2021, he was 33 years old. His difficult childhood attracted viewers' attention to his tale very quickly. Julian claims that because his family couldn't afford many groceries in the past, he would overindulge in food if they were fortunate enough to get it.
He never knew where he would get his next meal. After living in such a manner for a few years, electrician Julian put on a lot of weight.
Julian's weight on 'My 600-lb Life' was around 830 lbs. at the time. Irma, Julian's ex-wife, assisted him in every way, although there were issues. One of the main causes of the couple's infertility was his weight.
After seeing Dr Now in 'My 600-lb Life', Julian was given a personalized eating schedule. Five months later, he weighed around 136 pounds less.
Julian gained back the majority of the weight he had lost during the couple's vacation to Texas for his bariatric procedure. He had to follow Dr Now's instructions for another two months before having bariatric surgery.

Julian clarified on the GoFundMe page that he and his father underwent bariatric surgery at about the same time and were both on weight loss journeys. Julian complimented his father's fortitude and sense of humor but did not disclose the reason for his passing. His father never lost hope for his sister and him.

What happened to My 600-lb Life's Julian Valentine and his wife, Irma?
Although it seems that he has now moved on, viewers who followed Julian's journey will recall that Irma, his former wife, offered encouragement to him during the program.
Julian and Chynna Gamble, who seems to be his new girlfriend, are frequently spotted tagging each other in posts and taking photographs together. Julian even seems to reveal some very significant information about their relationship when looking for new exercise partners.
Muscular sclerosis (MS) has been identified in Chynna, a single mother of five children. It is a condition where a nerve injury impairs brain-to-body communication by causing the immune system to eat away at the protective layer around nerves.
Her spine's nerve endings have been harmed by it. She therefore has intermittent immobility, trembling in her body, and/or many spasms every day.
She is unable to work as a result. Chynna's family is doing everything they can to support her, but as you may know, raising little children requires a village.
She has established a GoFundMe website and is asking for donations of any size.
'My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now' Season 9 airs on Wednesdays on TLC at 8 pm ET.
