The official synopsis reads: "When reclusive novelist Ohm Bauman (Scott) retreats to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, the staff’s tales of an ancient witch haunting the honeymoon suite take hold of his mind. Also in the cast are David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh, Peter Coonan, Will O’Connell, Michael Patric, Brendan Conroy, Austin Amelio, Ezra Carlisle, and Siox C. The film is set for release in the US on May 1, 2026, while the film's UK release has yet to be officially confirmed.
In a statement, Executive producer Ben Ross expressed his optimism about the film. "With Adam’s talent and charisma and Damian’s unique direction, this is another opportunity for us to push boundaries in the horror genre and continue to make our mark in the international market."
Earlier, Scott made headlines when he revealed the time he almost quit acting after losing his ‘Six Feet Under’ Role To Michael C. Hall. "It’s good that I didn’t get it because it wouldn’t be nearly as good if I had done it because he was perfect and incredible,” Scott said as Poehler expressed her shock. “He’s incredible, and I wasn’t ready." He further added, "It was the one where I was like, ‘I might stop doing this. I think that it’s time for me to read the tea leaves and walk away,'" he told Amy Poehler during his appearance on the' Good Hang' podcast.
