'Bridgerton' Season 4 lets viewers see the first episode ahead of release — here's how you can watch it
Get ready to witness the magic of forbidden love once again, as viewers will be able to watch the first episode of 'Bridgerton' Season 4 Part 1 sooner than anticipated. Slated to premiere on Thursday, January 29, 2026, Season 4 of the romantic period drama will focus on Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Beckett (Yerin Ha). With a massive global fan following, anticipation for the new love story is naturally running high, and there's a way to catch the first episode early before its release, all thanks to a Masquerade event.
Netflix Tudum has officially announced a 'Bridgerton' Season 4 Premiere Masquerade event, giving fans insider access to the Paris red carpet. Not only that, but the event will also provide an early screening of episode 1 ahead of its Thursday, January 29 Netflix debut, with entry available by RSVP through Tudum's event page by Wednesday, January 14. Notably, Season 4 is inspired by Julia Quinn's 'An Offer from a Gentleman,' and will follow major revelations from the previous installment, including the unmasking of Lady Whistledown as Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and the confirmation that Penelope and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) are now parents, as per ScreenRant.
Not only that, way before the release of season 4, the makers had already confirmed season 5. This upcoming installment will adapt Quinn's novel 'To Sir Phillip, With Love,' with the storyline centering on Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie), who has long stood out among her siblings for her rebellious and independent nature. Fans can expect Eloise's journey to explore her own passions, challenges, and romantic developments, offering a fresh perspective within the Bridgerton universe.
Filming for 'Bridgerton' Season 5 is slated to begin in Spring 2026, with a likely release planned for the following year, keeping viewers eagerly anticipating the next chapter in the 'Bridgerton' saga. In addition, Netflix has also greenlit season 6, though details about its plot remain under wraps. Speculation suggests it may continue the story of Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd), who was newly married in season 3.
Showrunner Jess Brownell also notes that Quinn's third 'Bridgerton' novel, 'An Offer From a Gentleman', which serves as a source for season 4, was "the easiest book to adapt" for the screen thus far, as per Entertainment Weekly. She explains, "It lent itself really closely to television structure for a love story. There are just a lot of rich set pieces that gave us juicy conflict and high stakes. I think fans will be happy to see quite a few of the set pieces from the book in the show."
