As all good things come to those who wait, 'Daredevil: Born Again' fans now have genuine cause to rejoice. The Disney+ show about Marvel's Phase 6 recently dropped its first official trailer, and things seem to be heating up for the blind attorney by day and masked vigilante by night. The trailer is jarring in its visual appeal and almost breathless in its pacing, building momentum toward the Season 2 release.

The date has been fixed for March 24, at 6 p.m. ET, exclusively on Disney+. The show will be released first across North and South America, with a subsequent global release on March 25. As confirmed by a Marvel press release, Season 2 will consist of eight tightly knit episodes. Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Matt Murdock, and Vincent D'Onofrio will reprise his role as Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin. Alongside this leading duo, the other prominent characters include Ayelet Zurer as Vanesa Fisk, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Margarita Levieva as Hetherr Glenn, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter, aka Bullseye. In a dream-come-true moment for both Marvel and Netflix's Marvel-verse fans, Krysten Ritter will make her comeback as the formidable private investigator with superpowers, i.e., Jessica Jones.

According to TechRadar, the trailer of 'Daredevil: Born Again' Season 2 makes good use of chaos in establishing the gritty world of New York, which now lies under Fisk's thumb. The trailer lasts for all but 70 seconds and still makes a lasting impression owing to its hard cuts and blaring soundscape. This naturally leads one to speculate about the landmark events one might expect from the Disney+ show's sophomore season.

The trailer opens with heartfelt scenes involving both Murdock and Page, who have seemingly reunited as a couple at last. All of a sudden, Murdock is seen crying out in pain. On the other hand, Fisk and his wife are also seen spending a few tender moments before we are introduced to Bullseye, savoring an ice cream sundae at a diner, on the cusp of shaking things up. The enigmatic Mr. Charles is introduced right after a shot of a mysterious figure in a rubber Fisk mask, delivering an address to the camera.

Elsewhere, a missing poster for Murdock is seen, followed by the masked vigilante and Page making their way underground. Interestingly, Jones is back to her usual witty self and, at one point, quips to Murdock that he better be able to walk, as she won't carry him. Another important detail confirmed by the trailer is that Elden Henson's Foggy Nelson will feature across a few scenes in the upcoming season. Despite the character meeting his demise in the show's debut season, his Netflix-era haircut suggests he would appear primarily in flashbacks.
