Plot
‘When Calls the Heart’ follows Elizabeth Thatcher from an affluent family, who leaves her old life behind on receiving her first assignment, to start a new life in Coal Valley. The series skillfully navigates her struggles as she tries to find a place for herself in a small town. The upcoming season will see Elizabeth considering a future in Hope Valley as Lucas pushes her to follow her dreams and establish a career in writing.
Season 7 will also shed light on Elizabeth, Lucas and Nathan’s complex love triangle. Meanwhile, ‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 7 also promises plenty of drama through the lives of its other characters. While Lee makes a big revelation about his past to Rosemary, Faith and Carson’s relationship is faced with new challenges.

Erin Krakow essays the lead role of Elizabeth Thatcher Thornton in ‘When Calls the Heart’. She first appeared with a recurring role on ‘Army Wives’ as Specialist Tamya Gabriel. Erin is also known for featuring in several television films including ‘Finding Father Christmas’, ‘Chance at Romance’ and ‘Engaging Father Christmas’.

Chris McNally is seen as Lucas Bouchard, one of Erin’s love interests. He rose to prominence with his role as John Jardine in 2013’s ‘John Apple Jack’. His latest work includes ‘Freefall’.
Kevin McGarry
Kevin McGarry was introduced to us as Nathan Grant in Season 6 of ‘When Calls the Heart’. He is mostly known for featuring in CBS’s ‘Heartland’ as Mitch Cutty. Kevin has also made guest appearances on shows such as ‘Taken’, ‘Ranson’ and ‘The Bold Type’.
