What is The Usos' net worth? Tag team champions make history with win over The New Day in WWE Smackdown
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA: The WWE stadium was left thrilled and stunned after the Usos wrote history by becoming the longest-reigning tag-team champions after defeating the New Day. With the stakes so high, WWE opened this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Indianapolis with it. The twin brothers - Joshua Samuel Fatu and Jonathan Solofa Fatu - better known as Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso brought tough competition for Xavier Woods and WWE's very own Kofi Kingston. The fans came forth to congratulate the group.
The record for the longest reigning tag-team champions was held by the New Day itself which was a 483-day run as Raw tag team champions. They fought ferociously to defend their record to no avail. The Usos usurped New Day to say hello to their cousin Roman Reigns at the top who himself is the longest reigning universal champion in history, surpassing 800 days. The SamckDown champions Jimmy and Jey Uso solidified their run for this record when they defeated Rey and Dominik Mysterio at 2021's WWE Money in the Bank and won the title. They later defeated The Brawling Brutes at Crown Jewel to retain their title and face New Day.
