LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lizzo ramped up the red carpet at the 2023 Grammys. Fans on social media, however, are unhappy with her outfit, drawing similarities ranging from a 'rooster' to a tarot card.

What did Lizzo wear to Grammy 2023?

Lizzo has added a splash of color to the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. The "Juice" singer made an arrival in a Dolce & Gabbana orange gown and matching cape. The outfit had a pale orange color with a corset bodice and white vertical stripes. Furthermore, her long cloak in a darker coral color was adorned with flowers, which were focused at the top and distributed throughout. Lizzo's glam matched her bright dress. The singer sported beautiful orange eye makeup and blush, as well as a warm bronzy lip and a glossy highlighter. Her hair was wavy and smooth, and she had an orange manicure. The singer wore translucent orange gloves and two enormous diamond cluster rings as part of her maximalist look.

Lizzo hit the red carpet with beau Myke Wright, who looked dapper in a black suit and bow tie. The singer is nominated for five Grammys this year, including Best Pop Vocal Album, Album of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. Her chart-topping album Special and her hit "About Damn Time" have both received nominations. The three-time Grammy winner's second number-one single has become a TikTok viral phenomenon, with fans constantly choreographing dances to the upbeat music.

Fans compare Lizzo's outfit to 'comforter with roses on it'

Lizzo posted many photos of her colorful ensemble on Instagram ahead of tonight's ceremony. "🌺Spring awakening🌺," she captioned a slideshow of photos of herself dressed like a goddess. She also posted a video of herself standing in the gown and cape, as well as a close-up of her makeup. "Let’s go Grammys🍑," she wrote.

However, fans on social media aren't necessarily fans of her outfit. One of the comparisons her look drew was, "What in the hell is @lizzo wearing? She looks like the trash heap in fraggle rock! It’s awful." Some people felt Lizzo was 'uncomfortable' in her outfit, "Hmmm. The sketch of lizzo’s outfit kind of worked- but the live version? Yikes. She looks so uncomfortable." Another person wrote, "Lizzo's #GRAMMYs     outfit looks like Macy's Thanksgiving Parade made balloon representation of Mars." People aren't also happy as they write, "look for the Red Carpet at the #GRAMMYs photographs well but I hate it on the carpet she can barely walk let alone move I hate that for her cuz she’s so bad they don’t have to drape her in pounds of garb for a moment."

Comparing her outfit to that of a comforter, one Twitter user wrote, "Somebody really told these celebrities that they look good wearing that nonsense they’re wearing on the red carpet lizzo wearing a comforter with roses on it … I’m done."
