New York City-based rapper Westside Gunn is on a music releasing spree this year. With a mixtape titled ‘FLYGOD is an Awesome God II’ and an album titled ‘Pray for Paris’ already released in 2020, the Griselda Records member is now all set to treat his loyal hip hop fans with a brand new album in the form of ‘Who Made the Sunshine'.

Days after he confirmed he is retiring from the scene in December 2020, the 38-year-old hip-hop entrepreneur took to his official Twitter account to share the tracklist of the album.

The American rapper had earlier discussed his new mixtape ‘FLYGOD is an Awesome God II’ on his official Instagram post where in the end he first announced the album ‘Who Made the Sunshine'. In the post, he shared, "As the Album approaches I just wanna Say I love ART. The way I think the way I paint is wat makes me the FLYGOD. I never cared about being the best rapper I only wanted to bring the best ART to the culture. Last week I asked Conway wat helps him write and when he told me I tried it, ended up taking a road trip to Dallas. That’s when I put up the Michael Irvin cover which I was gonna drop that same day but then I started making more music and said f**k it I’ll do an EP, then I hit StoveGOD to get on it but then I’m like my G didn’t get the proper looks for his tape when his s**t is pure (fire) prob due to politics so I want him to get the proper shine and make N****s go."

‘Who Made the Sunshine’ will be Westside Gunn’s first solo project from Shady Records. In order to give a wholesome experience to his fans, the rapper has also paired the album with a new 10-minute documentary titled ‘Who Made the Sunshine: Connie's Son'.
