In the season finale of 'Welcome To Plathville', Moriah finally made the decision of moving out of her home and heading to Minnesota. She decided to break the news to the family when all of them gathered to celebrate her birthday. Moriah took some time and told her family that there was something that she wanted to share.

She then revealed that she would be heading to Minnesota to handle one of the wedding projects along with Olivia but will not be coming back. Barry and Kim were surprised to hear the news as they did not expect Moriah to make such a big decision without consulting them first.

Moriah revealed that Olivia had bought her a one-way ticket to Minnesota and that she would be staying with her grandparents there. Barry was upset that Olivia went against them and decided to get flight tickets for Moriah without telling them about it. Even though he was happy that Moriah would get to spend time with his parents he could not accept the fact that the decision was taken without having a conversation.

Kim and Barry have always been fearful that Olivia would influence the way their children think. Their concern started rising when they realized their oldest children were spending more time with Olivia and Ethan and having a change in attitude.

Moriah became more open about the need of being free while Micah got into modeling. Kim thought that these changes took place ever since Olivia came into the picture. However, the pair did not want the same changes to come in the other children. Kim and Barry made it a rule that Olivia and Ethan would not be allowed in the house if they were not present.

Ever since then the relationship had hit a downfall. However, after seeing the decision Olivia and Ethan made without consulting Kim and Barry, it seems like their relationship is going to get more complicated. Sadly, viewers will have to wait for Season 2 of the show to find out more.
