After a brief winter break, NBC's trivia game show 'Weakest Link' was back and fans were beyond excited to watch their favorite game show featuring Jane Lynch and her witty jabs. The episode, titled 'Who Thinks Pro Bono Was Married To Sher?', featured eight contestants whose professions ranged from a contortionist to a drag queen. The contestants were Stephanie Register, John Lamberti, Jasmine Brown, Violet Dominguez, Robert Stone, Shikha Johnson, Emilio Velez and Jack Larrabee.

The number of contestants in the game kept thinning down with each passing round, thanks to the elimination at the end of every round. Just before the final round, only John, Violet and Jack were left in the game. The trio was competing for $82,000 that they had accumulated from the previous rounds. Although Jack played really well through the course of the game, he, unfortunately, missed answering one of the questions posed to him in that round. While John, on the other hand, was playing the game strategically, and Violet turned out to be the weakest link of that round.

When it was time to vote out the 'Weakest Link', Jack voted against John because he felt that John played weakly in that round. John, on the other hand, agreed that he felt like he wasn't the strongest player of that round, but he wasn't going to vote against himself, so he voted for Jack. He also added that since Jack was extremely intelligent and smart, he didn't want to go head to head against him in the final round, as he might lose the money.

Violet too unfortunately voted against Jack, so he was eliminated from the game, despite being one of the strongest players in the game. In the final round, John managed to get all the answers right, while Violet got an answer wrong, which made him the winner of the game. But fans weren't pleased with his victory, and felt that Jack should have won instead. A fan tweeted, "Oh ffs. Jack should've won this game. #WeakestLink." Another fan wrote, "#WeakestLink John give your man Jack a little bit of that money cause he earned you most of it." "The rules of this game needs to be changed that the best player be allowed an additional vote. Jack deserved to win #WeakestLink @NBCWeakestLink," commented a fan.

Fans were also annoyed by how the strongest player always ended up getting eliminated in the end, and pointed out the flaw in the game's format. A fan shared, "I've said it before but this is main thing wrong with #WeakestLink. When it comes down to 3 people, the other two can easily gang up on the person who answered the most questions right and basically got them most of the money. They're being punished for being smart." "Ugh. When are they going to grant immunity to the top player each round? It gets old always seeing the strongest player cut - Jack included. #weakestlink @NBCWeakestLink," wondered a fan. "I’m watching #WeakestLink and this make jack got 1 question wrong and got all the money for the team just to get voted out for being to smart.. y’all need to fix your show cause that’s bullcrap.. man would have won if you pair everyone against him  ," expressed a fan. "The #WeakestLink is such a broken game. Nobody is going to watch if the final outcome is so predictable. Also, people are getting tired of the best player being tossed from the game," seconded a fan.
