'Was it Love' Episode 14 promo shows Dae-o put himself in the path of danger while saving Ha-nee, Ae-jeong
The 'Was it Love' Episode 14 promo hints at how the upcoming episode is going to keep us at the edge of our seats with melodrama. The previous episode ended with Koo Pa-do and O Dae-o rushing out to save Ae-jeong, Ha-nee, and Dong-chan who got kidnapped by the Chinese mob that Pa-do seemed to be wary of from the beginning of the show. It became clear over time that it was this same gang that had harmed Dong-chan's mother who is Ae-jeong's doppelganger. So they are a dangerous bunch of people and going by what we see on the promo, we are certain that tragedy awaits Ae-jeong.
In the promo, we first see Joo Ah-rin throw a fit about having to put up with Ae-jeong who has done nothing but ruin her life. So she even tells Ryu Jin that she is going to walk out of the project. Beyond that, she also asks Ryu Jin why it is her responsibility to help Ae-jeong realize her dream. Ryu Jin gets quite upset with her, but not much about how he manages to keep her in line is seen in the promo. Instead, we see Pa-do in an attempt to save Dong-chan get beaten up by a bunch of thugs.
He is completely out of it and so Dae-o has no option but to attempt saving Ae-jeong and his daughter by himself. So we see him run up the stairs, use a fire extinguisher to break open a door and while he manages to see where Ae-jeong and Ha-nee have been held before he could escape with them, a fire seems to break out. This fire that breaks out turns into an explosion and Dae-o guards his daughter and at this time he gets injured. We see Dae-o admitted in the hospital, and from what Ha-nee and Pa-do try to explain to Ae-jeong, it seems that he is badly injured and the doctors are unsure of him making it.
Ah-rin who was dead set on ruining Ae-jeong's film now is in a state of distress because of Dae-o's injury. So this might serve as a turning point for Ah-rin as well as she seems to lean on Ryu Jin to get over how saddened she was after seeing Dae-o in the hospital. So we might very well get a happy ending for both Ryu Jin and Ah-rin who have been in love with Ae-jeong and Dae-o respectively for years.
New episodes of 'Was it Love?' will air on JTBC at 9.30 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays and will be available to stream on Netflix.
