Vince Neil, who is best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Motley Crue, was rushed to a hospital on Friday, October 15 after he tumbled off the stage. The California native was performing at the Monster on the Mountain festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee when the incident occurred. The singer made a comeback to the stage after his last performance in 2015.

According to TMZ, the 60-year-old rock veteran stepped to the edge of the stage and suddenly fell 4 feet onto the cement. Apparently, there was a small gap between the speaker and the stage that Vince failed to notice. Speaking of public figures getting hospitalized, hip-hop iconic producer Dr Dre was in news for the same along with celebrities like Katey Sagal, Joshua Bassett, and YouTuber Lil Esco.

Is Vince Neil OK?

Vince Neil and his band were playing their hit single ‘Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)’ when the unfortunate incident occurred.  According to CNN, the video footage of the concert shows Vince giving a spin to his guitar as he walked to the side of the stage before taking the fall. Bass player Dana Strum explained to the crowd that Neil was hurt. "The truth is Vince fell and broke ribs when he fell. He can't breathe and he's gonna get dealt with medically." Apparently, he wanted to finish the show but was advised against it.

The rock singer was taken to the hospital and according to TMZ, the doctors took X-rays, the results of which are yet to be disclosed. Vince Neil has been time and again slammed for his underwhelming solo performances. The musician was also in news earlier for battling alcohol addiction but he was not drunk when he fell from the stage. A renowned journalist named Eddie Trunk took to Twitter writing, “Get well @thevinceneil ! Vince slipped and fell off the stage tonight at Monsters on the Mountain here in Pigeon Forge. Vince had been moving & singing great before the accident. He’s at hospital now getting care & X Rays. More when I hear. Get well VN!” Another user, who shot the concert video shared, “That explains why I lost track of him in this video. I apparently captured the fall at the end of this clip. Totally agree that he looked great and was singing great. Hope the X-rays are clear and you bounce back quickly @thevinceneil”

‘Hope he’s ok! Dude is 60’, says Twitter

Social media users took to Twitter as soon as they got the news of Vince Neil getting injured. “We are doing all these cruel weight jokes about Vince Neil breaking ribs after falling off the stage, but we should really be worried about how can he possibly sing when it hurts to even breath!!!”, said one as another added, “Hope you recover quickly, Vince.”

The next one trolled the rocker saying, “I bet they meant rolling off stage. Not falling.” Another added, ”If he's not drinking than the fall is based on his centre of balance realigning @thevinceneil - Get well soon and try DDP yoga.” Meanwhile, one worried user tweeted, “Hope he’s ok! Dude is 60!” And, another concluded, “Get better Vince!!! Been waiting since last year to see y’all at the Stadium Tour!!!! Next July we’re gonna rock in KC!!!”
