‘Vikings’ Season 6 Episode 11 first look marks beginning of the epic saga's end
The reality finally hits us! The epic saga of the Vikings is about to come to an end; whether that ending will leave us ruing or reveling is something we have to wait and watch. As of now, all we know is that there’s a monumental battle that will cause major upheaval across Norway and the rest of Scandinavia as the Russians wage war on the Vikings. When the show went on its midseason break, we were left with the shocking news of Bjorn’s death.
Ragnar Lothbrok's sons, Ivar the Boneless and Bjorn Ironside, each riding high on their hubris, faced off each other, fighting for what each of them thought was right, leaving all of us heartbroken. And then the network released the first look into the comeback episode when the show returns sometime later this year.
If you have been heartbroken at the painful demise of Bjorn in his stepbrother’s hand, this is good news. As the teaser trailer shows, Bjorn will be back from the dead. Even Ivar is shocked to see his brother reappear and ready to fight with all his might.
But this also means the beginning of the end of their story. We also hear Gunhild saying “the end of the golden era of the Vikings is here.” In a colossal battle that we would have ever seen, the sons of Ragnar will be out for each other’s blood. But who will surrender to whom and what price will they pay until it all comes to an end?
