Snoop Dogg and DMX's epic battle on the latest segment of Verzuz had fans grooving along to some of the best hip-hop tracks from decades past, but no one was feeling it more than Snoop himself who was jamming along to every tune and dancing in a way that only Uncle Snoop can. And naturally, fans were having a blast right along with him.

As DMX stepped away for a moment, Snoop kicked things into overdrive, leaving viewers in splits. "Snoop Dogg dancing on screen by himself while DMX went off-screen for a coke break is the funniest s**t I've ever seen," tweeted one viewer, while another said, "@SnoopDogg dancing is the commercial break." One fan shared, "I’ll def take this commercial break of @SnoopDogg Crip walking / Dancing." Soon fans were dancing and rapping along with Snoop, sharing, "So many memories listening to this battle. My neighbors definitely hear me rappin’ and singing & see me dancing (somewhere between Snoop and a two-step)."

For many, Verzuz battles are a reprieve during trying times and it appears Snoop just made everyone feel a whole lot better. "Snoop Dogg been living his best life since I can remember. This battle is fun as hell got me dancing thru the house," tweeted one fan, while another said, "I didn’t think I could love Snoop Dogg anymore than I already do but him dancing during this Verzuz battle did it for me."

Another reason the Verzuz battles have been massively popular is that they allow Black people to enjoy Black artistry during a time when their communities are on the frontlines, fighting back against police brutality. It additionally allows for Black art to be viewed outside the context of stereotypical portrayals. One fan shared, "Snoop Dogg dancing is the definition of Black Boy Joy," while another said, "This is so dope. It’s not even about the score this is legendary status. Two hip hop icons dancing around to each other’s music, spittin each other’s lyrics, showing sincere Black Men love & appreciation for each other."

But mostly, fans just couldn't get over Snoop's epic moves. "@SnoopDogg dancing in the spirit of the #gangstaHolyGhost," quipped one fan, "Snoop Dogg dance like an auntie dancing around the house cleaning up!" joked another, and one fan said, "#SnoopDogg is like the drunk uncle dancing." And many others couldn't help but find Snoop's moves to be legendary on their own. One fan said, "Snoop be killin the 2 step lol I be cheesin mad hard everytime he start dancing. He is tooo smoooth," while another stated, "Like #snoop always had the coolest moves!! He need to make a dancing with the stars snoop edition lmao."
