Today's episode of 'Ultimate Tag' may just go down as one of its most memorable. As the women pushed themselves to make all new records in the final Showdown round, the men, one by one, fell prone to injury that made fans nationwide cringe to see — and kept on running. One of the more intense episodes of 'Ultimate Tag' and the fans are here for it.

Vanessa and Erika took the spotlight, running circles around the taggers — Vanessa, with her flag football skills and Erika with her endurance and determination. Both had a lot of support from the fans as they outpaced the show's resident taggers, step for step. "That was one of my best shows women races were sooo good," says one fan, on Twitter. "WHAT THE WOW??!!!! THIS WOMEN’S ROUND IS OFF THE CHAIN!!!!!" writes this fan.

"DAMMMNNN BOTH OF THESE WOMEN ARE FAST AF," exclaims this viewer. "Can I just say that the women are dominating the men on these tag courses tonight," points out this tweet.

The Banshee was let loose once again during Chase Tag, and fans were reminded of just how terrifying she could be. "If #Banshee on #UltimateTag was chasing me I would 100% pee my pants," admits one viewer.

The men's rounds, however, were less about speed and more about pushing on through the pain. Don's partially twisted ankle was no deterrent to him winning the Dodge Tag round, and though Blake's own injury kept him from finishing, he gave it his all until the end. "@UltimateTagFOX another thrilling episode full of energy and excitement. Contestants showing the ultimate sign of perseverance...BRAVO!" says this congratulatory fan. "I wish you the best, Blake. I hope your ankle feels better!!" says this fan. "damn...that’s brutal," says this viewer, when Blake hurt his Achilles' tendon.

"What a great episode of #UltimateTag tonight. We saw injuries and the ladies setting the fastest record in the Showdown. Get ready for the most action-packed episode ever next week!" says a viewer. "I feel that leg injury man. Sprained my left ankle walking down a flight of concrete lecture hall stairs back in February... hurts like hell," sympathizes this fan.

Of course, the lighter injuries were a little more fun for fans to see, though some felt they were a bit unfair. "The Flow does a 360 and lands on Alex's head. And you call that legal?" asks this viewer. Still, any injury a contestant can walk or run away from is one that keeps the fans entertained, as this viewer manages to express, "Horse replaced by The Flow, a parkour tagger who promptly drop kicks a dude in the head while flipping all over. I love this show."

The next episode of 'Ultimate Tag' airs June 10, on FOX.
