Tyga ‘Well Done Fever’: Release date, concept, tracklist and all the hype around rapper’s newly-announced mixtape

Rapper Tyga has a special treat lined-up for his fans this Christmas as he has announced his brand new mixtape called ‘Well Done Fever’. The 31-years-old hip-hop artist took to his official Twitter account to share the big news. He posted a video snippet of one of the songs from his new tape with his 5million followers and captioned the post as, “WELL DONE FEVER MIXTAPE XMAS DAY.”

Tyga dropped his last full-length project in 2019 in the form of his seventh studio album called ‘Legendary’. The album included hit singles like ‘Taste’ featuring Offset, ‘Goddamn’ featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie and ‘Haute’ featuring Chris Brown and J Balvin.

In 2020, Tyga released a couple of singles like ‘Money Mouf’ with Saweetie and YG, ‘Ibiza’, ‘Vacation’ and ‘Freak’ featuring Megan Thee Stallion. Apart from his music, the rapper also launched his OnlyFans management and lifestyle company Too Raww along with Tyga Bites, a delivery-only restaurant that serves chicken nuggets.

Release date

Tyga’s ‘Well Done Fever’ will hit the Internet on December 25, 2020, via Datpiff.

Concept

The fresh mixtape will be hosted by DJ Drama. The two had worked together on the first ‘Well Done’ mixtape 10 years ago. The new project marks the fifth installment in the rapper’s ‘Well Done’ series, which started a decade ago. Tyga usually features his remixes to popular songs and the new one will be no different. ‘Well Done 4’ was released in December 2013 with appearances from Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, Pusha-T and more.

Tracklist

Tyga hasn’t spilled any details on the tracklist but in order to create the hype for his new project, he dropped the cover track of Pop Smoke’s ‘For the Night’. In the video, we can see the rapper having a gala time with his sizzling hot ladies as he fools around with them.

In the song he raps, “One day I’ll have a daughter, Hope she don’t f**k with no rappers/ So they suck, they kiss their boyfriend after (ugh), girl, you so nasty/ If I got a hundred dollars every bad b***h that passed me/ I’ll be daddy, T-Raww gladly, Get you diamonds, Birkin, Maggy, just don’t ex me.”

The buzz

A lot of social media users were excited about the announcement of the new mixtape. One user stated, “We still like our s**t WELL DONE! drop it on Spotify !!!!!!” Another expressed, “The more I scroll my tl the sweeter my xmas looking for once.”

One added, “Always kills the beat to the ground #kingshit.” One user asked, “Yoo @Tyga can you put the well done series on Apple?”  Another suggested, “Make it a party.” One spoke about the video snippet shared on the wall and said, “OH MY GOSH! this song is awesome.”
