Trisha Yearwood’s performance at the 2020 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards will be etched in everyone’s memory for a long time. The American singer-songwriter gave a heartfelt performance at the prestigious award show with her single ‘I’ll Carry You Home.’ She paid a heart-warming tribute to all the people country music lost this year

Even though the 55-year-old artist could not score a nomination at this year’s ACM Awards, her performance sure was award-winning. Her songs paid tribute to Kenny Rogers, Charlie Daniels, John Prine, Joe Diffie, Justin Townes Earle, Harold Reid and more.The evening also saw special performances from Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw among others. The official account of ACM Awards also tweeted about the performance and posted, “Who better than @trishayearwood to honor the legends that the Country Music community is grieving this year. Red heart May we never forget the legacies these men and women have left for us all. #ACMawards”

Yearwood’s fans also logged into Twitter to applaud her after watching her splendid performance. One user said, “Trisha Yearwood's voice sounds as good now as it did 20 years ago. She has not lost a bit of power or range, and she has the genre's best-ever sense of phrasing. This is just gorgeous. #ACMs” One social media user tweeted, “Mrs Yearwood. What a voice. Another tweeted, “@trishayearwood  voice is like an angel singing. She is beautiful inside and out. Counted as one of the prestigious award shows, the 55th edition of ACM Awards is currently being screened live for the fans from Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, September 16, only on the CBS Television Network. The event was first supposed to be held on April 5 this year but unfortunately had to be pushed due to the global pandemic.

ACM Awards 2020 also saw country music legend Keith Urban taking over as the host for the evening for the very first time. The award show did not include a live audience but featured a star-studded line-up of performers to make sure there is no dull moment.
