The relationship of Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly has been one roller coaster ride for the duo and also for their fans. After first sparking rumors of being together in August 2020, the lovebirds headed in a different direction in May 2021. However, it now looks like love might be in the air again as the former star duo was recently papped in New York City having a gala time.
Sparking reconciliation rumors, the popular TV host was clicked in the city with the ‘Titans’ actress as they spent some quality time while walking Minka’s dog Fred in the city. The two appeared to be in a cheerful mood as they looked dapper in their respective casual outfits. Speaking of Noah, ‘The Daily Show’ host was recently in the news when was crucified for comparing the Grammys 2021 to Capitol Riots. While dubbing the two events as ‘biggest ‘outdoor’ gathering, he said, “Tonight is gonna be the biggest outdoor event this year besides the storming of the Capitol.”

Are Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly back together?
Looking at their dating history, both Noah and Minka are known for their casual flings but after getting spotted in the city on Friday, September 3, it appears things might get serious again between the two. While Noah opted for a comfortable look with a plain white tee shirt and gray utility pants, Minka looked stunning in shades of beige for head to toe, as reported by Page Six. The rumored love birds took a stroll in the city and enjoyed the pleasant weather- basically indulging in the simple joys of life. Noah was seen fiddling with his phone as Minka stood by him all the time. Wondering if they are back together? Well, none out of the two has spoken about it on social media and neither have they released an official statement to address their current relationship status. All we can assume is things might be falling in place again.
The 37-year-old popular TV host was also papped in the city with Minka in June as they enjoyed a similar stroll in the city. This came only a month after their split. The former couple looked radiant giving shutterbugs the perfect pose with good old finger guns.
Why did Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly break up?
Trevor and Minka’s breakup was first reported by People magazine in May 2021. Though none of them publicly addressed the issue, Noah had left a few breadcrumbs in one of his earlier interviews. Speaking to Howard Stern, Noah had said that he believed co-habiting is what led to issues in a couple's relationships eventually leading to divorce. “I think one of the biggest reasons people get divorced and relationships break up is because of this cohabiting bulls**t." Since Noah never spilled the tea on his split with Minka, there are chances that they putting up together might have done damage to the relationship.
There are chances that the two earlier split maybe over their former high-profile relationships. Prior to her relationship with the TV host, Minka was in a relationship with 'Grey's Anatomy' star Jesse Williams. However, the couple dated only for a few months as Williams was in the throes of a divorce at the time. Minka has also dated Derek Jeter and has had an on-and-off relationship with actor Chris Evans. Noah was last romantically linked to girlfriend Jordyn Taylor in 2017. When they first started dating, the couple had reportedly purchased a $27.5M home in Los Angeles at the end of December. Shedding light on the same, a source told People magazine, “They're making plans for a future together, and it's a very stable relationship. They've been spending time between coasts over the last year and had been looking for a place in L.A. as a couple."
