Trevor Noah's hard-hitting video about the difference between treatments meted out to Jacob Blake, who was shot seven times in the back by Kenosha police, Vs Kyle Rittenhouse, who was arrested only the next day after the death of two, has gone viral.

Sporting an afro and nearly spitting his words in anger, Noah came out with some hard-hitting questions in the video, articulating what many have been feeling about recent events. "It really made me wonder why some people get shot seven times in the back while other people are treated like human beings and reasoned with and taken into custody with no bullets in their bodies... How come Jacob Blake was seen as a threat for a theoretical gun that he might have and might try to commit a crime with, but this gunman who was armed and who had already shot people, who had shown that he is a threat, was arrested the next day, given full due process of the law and generally treated like a human being whose life matters?," he asked.

In the 9 and half minute video, Noah constantly threw out questions like: "Whatever happened to warning shots? Or tackling a suspect?"; "Are we to believe that the only two options a cop has is do nothing or shoot somebody in the back seven times?"; "What purpose did bullets 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 serve?".

He then turned his attention to the Kyle Rittenhouse case, saying that no one crossed state lines with their "militia buddies" to "protect" a business, but rather because they are "hoping to shoot someone". He also said that it was time to stop calling such armed groups "militia" and call them "gangs" instead.

The video comes on the heels of a full-page faux lawyer ad baiting President Trump that was published in 'The New York Times', 'Washington Post', and 'The Los Angeles Times'. The ad offered legal services to a “soon to be ex-president”.

After the video and the viral ad, multiple tweets asked he be given an Emmy right away. "He is doing what Jon Stewart could never do on the issue of racism in America and it's becoming very clear to so many that he was the right man for the job at the Daily News for the times we are in now. Give that man his Emmy NOW," one tweeted.

Other tweets also compared him to Stewart, the previous host of 'The Daily Show': "Trevor Noah is in his element here and has surpassed Jon Stewart with this clip in terms of incisiveness, at least in my eyes," a user said.

Others said they were skeptical about Trevor Noah when he first took over, but that he had built on Stewart's legacy and was the "best possible successor".

Trevor Noah has taken the show in new directions since he has taken over and rebranded it “The Daily Social Distancing Show” as he broadcasts from his home under quarantine conditions, often interviewing high profile guests. The show has bagged six Emmy nominations including the 'Outstanding Variety Talk Series' for the upcoming 2020 awards show and might displace 'Last Week Tonight with John Oliver' from the winner's podium.
