Concept

The much-awaited Astroworld event revolves around the idea of the now-defunct amusement park AstroWorld. Travis Scott used to visit the park on several occasions while growing up nearby Missouri City. The Grammy-nominated artist had also released an album with the same name in August 2018 which further cemented his position in the music industry. According to Variety, a portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to the festival’s official charity partner, Cactus Jack Foundation, which focuses on enriching the lives of youth by providing access to education and creative resources to ensure long-term success.
