Tracy Morgan dons huge tire chains during WBA bout, trolls say he ‘wearing that Walmart check’

Many on the Internet pulled up the 53-year-old actor for his chunky pieces that he wore while sitting in the audience over the weekend

A day after getting honored by the Friars Club with an Icon Award, Tracy Morgan marked his attendance at a WBA lightweight championship match on Saturday, May 28. The stand-up comedian was seen at the bout that went down between Gervonta Davis and Rolando Romero at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
 
While the fans and the social media users enjoyed the thrilling match between the Gervonta Davis and Rolando Romero, Tracy Morgan all of a sudden started trending on Twitter over the weekend after the actor was spotted wearing two huge tire chains- a fashion that was highly associated with the rappers of the 80’s and 90’s. Many on the Internet pulled up the 53-year-old actor for the chunky pieces that he wore while sitting in the audience.

Reacting to Tracy Morgan’s fashion faux pas at the match, social media users trolled the star saying he spent the money he got from the Walmart settlement on the big tire chains. For the unversed, the comedian was badly injured in 2014 after a Walmart truck rammed into the back of the limousine leading to a deadly six-car accident. It is believed that Tracy reportedly got a whopping $90million in a settlement in 2021 after he decided to sue Walmart. Tracy had sustained a traumatic brain injury, fractured ribs, and a broken leg.
 
Coming back to the trolls, social media users made jokes about Tracy Morgan’s style statement. “Tracy Morgan wearin that Walmart check”, said one user as another posted, “Tracy Morgan in there looking like he’s selling bricks in the 80’s lol.”  Another joked, “Ik thought Tracy Morgan was Busta Rymes w them chains on.” One user tweeted, “Honestly The Highlight Of The Fight Was Tracy Morgan Chains”.
 
Another shared, “Tracy Morgan got the entire Walton Family net worth around his neck”, meanwhile, one posted, “Tracy Morgan over doing it with these tire chains lmao.” An individual asserted, “Tracy Morgan looking dumb as hell w/ all them chains on” and another mentioned, “Tracy Morgan got them fat a** chains on LMFAOOOOOO.” And, one concluded, “Tracy Morgan looking like the dude from I’m Gonna Git You Sucka with all those chains on.”
