LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tory Lanez's father, Sonstar Peterson, promoted a crazy belief that Jay-Z and Roc Nation had something to do with his son's conviction. After the rapper was convicted guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion, Peterson yelled with dismay as he left the court recorded in a video that is making rounds on Twitter.

Peterson was also evicted from the court during his son’s trial for interfering with proceedings as he yelled at the prosecutors, calling them evil. He announced Desiree Perez as the COO of Roc Nation and Alex Spiro, Megan's attorney on the streets outside the court. “And the whole wicked system of Roc Nation, including you Jay-Z. Megan is signed to Roc Nation." Peterson added, “I just stood here in this Los Angeles and witnessed the worst miscarriage of justice that this world has ever seen. You want to know how I feel, I’ll tell you exactly how I feel.” Then Lanez's father began alleging that specific witnesses were working closely with the prosecution.  “I’ve seen so much evidence buried in this. I know exactly what the public will say,” he said. He believed people would brush him off and say he was only defending Lanez because he was his father — which he said wasn’t true. He said he was “calling on all the young brothers to rise up … because your sons have been done dirty.”

Peterson had a large group of Tory Lanez's supporters standing behind him. As he spoke, one woman yelled, "Free Tory." Peterson continued, “It’s not over, god does not lose.” A woman close to him said, “It’s just begun.” He added, “This court system is not for justice. It’s about wins and losses. Jay-Z, let me speak to you.” “Because my son refused to sign a Roc Nation deal with you. And Desiree Perez you wicked witch, you snitch,” he added before bringing up an old court case of hers. He then issued a warning, “We don’t shoot you with guns, but we know exactly how to bring you down in spirit.” A young girl with the group then shouted, “Roc nation tried to mess with my brother’s reputation.”

Earlier, Tory Lanez was found guilty of all three charges that were brought against him after he shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot. The altercation took place in 2020 when Lanez and Megan were returning from a Kylie Jenner party along with Kelsey Nicole. One witness saw the drama unfold, helping jurors and the judge to reach a verdict in the case. It is expected that Lanez will face around 22 years of prison sentence for assault with a semiautomatic weapon, keeping a loaded firearm in a moving vehicle, and careless gun discharge.
